Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room (OR)

Location: Rutherfordton, North Carolina
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Facility Overview

Acute care facility with 143 beds offering inpatient and outpatient services
Non-trauma designated hospital
Operating Room unit with 5 OR beds
Patient ratio: 1:1
Electronic Health Record system: MEDITECH
Patient population: All ages

Position Details

Role: RN, specialty in Operating Room (OR)
Number of openings: 1
Shift: Days plus call
Call requirements: 1-2 days per week and 1 weekend every 4-6 weeks
Weekly guaranteed hours: None
Float requirements: None
Scrub color provided by hospital: Blue

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina
Minimum 2 years of Operating Room (OR) nursing experience, including experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Certifications required prior to start: ACLS, BLS

Additional Information

Orientation dates available throughout 2026
Candidates must be located 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify as travel staff
Typical workweek: approximately 36 hours
