Cardiac Cath Lab Tech

Location: Lewiston, Idaho
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Four 10-hour shifts per week (40 hours guaranteed)
Weekend Hours: On-call/call-back only
Call Requirements: 10 call shifts per month

Job Summary

• Work primarily in a Level 1 Cardiac, Level 2 Stroke, Level 3 Trauma regional medical center.
• Position is based on the 2nd Floor Cath Lab, a 2-room lab with 1:1 patient ratios.
• Heavy Interventional Radiology (IR) lab with stroke treatment capabilities.
• Platinum awarded Chest Pain Center.
• Equipment used includes Philips Xper; EHR system is Meditech.
• Patient population includes high acuity cases in a rural setting.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist.
• Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year.
• Completion of at least one prior travel assignment.
• Current BLS certification.
• ARRT or RCIS certification.

Responsibilities & Skills

• Perform cardiac diagnostic procedures, STEMI care, device implants.
• Conduct interventional radiology procedures including angiograms, runoff studies, stroke treatment, cerebral interventions, AAA, and TCAR.
• Ability to work independently with minimal onboarding in a high-acuity rural lab environment.

Additional Information

• Dress code: Hospital-issued scrubs only; no other attire permitted.
• No float requirements.
• Call schedule requires availability for 10 call shifts per month.

This role is ideal for experienced Cardiac Cath Lab Techs with strong IR and stroke treatment skills who are comfortable working in a fast-paced, rural hospital setting and have prior travel assignment experience.
