Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - ER (Night Shift)
Location: Roswell, New Mexico
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Position: Charge Nurse in Emergency Room (ER) during night shifts
- Shift: Night, 4 shifts per week, 12 hours each (6:00 PM to 6:30 AM)
- Schedule: Every other weekend required
- Charge Nurse role includes additional pay for all hours worked as Charge
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Mexico
- Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Department (ED) experience within the last year
- Experience in Charge Nurse roles
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Additional Information
- First-time travel nurses accepted
- Orientation and training may be attended pending fingerprint clearance, but no patient care until clearance is received
- Internal E-Verify process required for direct candidates; attestation required for subcontracted candidates
- Photo headshot required for badge issuance
- Various certifications such as NRP, CHEMO, TNCC, CPI, MAB, NIH Stroke Certification may be required as applicable
