Cath Lab Technologist - Diagnostic Imaging
Location: Chillicothe, Ohio
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Weekdays, 4x10 hour shifts (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM), some call required
Hours per Week: 40 hours guaranteed
Job Description
- Provide professional patient care using radiologic skills and procedures in the Cath Lab.
- Serve as a primary caregiver, delivering direct patient care and collaborating with physicians, patients, families, and team members to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Perform duties including scrubbing and monitoring/documenting multiple modalities within the Cath Lab.
- Assist in heart catheterization procedures, emergent cath procedures (including Impella and IABP), Peripheral lab, and Electrophysiology (EP) lab.
- Respond to call within 45 minutes, with one weekend per month and two nights per week on call.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Ohio
- Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
- Experience as a Cath Lab Radiology Technologist
- ARRT certification
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 1 year of prior travel experience preferred.
Additional Information
- Must reside outside a 60-mile radius from the facility.
