Registered Nurse - Med Surg (Travel)

Location: Roswell, New Mexico
Employment Type: Travel
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, every other weekend (EOW)
Hours per Week: 36

Job Description

Work on a busy General Medical-Surgical unit with quick patient turnover, including post-op ortho and general surgery patients.
Occasional floating to ICU to care for Med Surg overflow or Step Down patients.
Patient ratio typically 1:6, sometimes 1:7.
Unit has 361 beds.
Required to float as needed, but rarely.
Block scheduling and 48-hour guarantees may be accommodated if specified in the application.
Scrubs color: Royal Blue.
Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems used: Cerner and Mindray Telemetry System.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in New Mexico
Minimum 1 year of Med Surg experience within the last year
BLS certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Week maximum Return to Office (RTO) approved.
