Registered Nurse (ICU) - Travel Assignment
Location: Las Cruces, New Mexico
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36
Job Description
- Provide nursing care in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting.
- Position is a travel assignment requiring candidates to live 60 miles or more from the facility.
- Orientation occurs weekly on Mondays.
- Facility is Joint Commission Accredited, a Certified Primary Stroke Center, and a Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI.
- The hospital has 199 beds and offers a full spectrum of inpatient and outpatient diagnostic, therapeutic, and rehabilitative services.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Mexico.
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
- Minimum of 2 years of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) nursing experience, including experience within the last year.
- Current certifications required prior to start: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification.
- Must comply with New Mexico state fingerprinting and background check requirements:
- Fingerprinting required before hire for all clinical staff except physicians.
- May start on a 14-day waiver while fingerprint results are pending but must be supervised during this period.
