Lab Tech Travel Position
Location: Lake Havasu City, Arizona
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Hours per Week: 36 (guaranteed)
Job Summary
Seeking a Lab Tech with advanced microbiology experience, including plate reading, sensitivities, and identifications. The role involves working in a Joint Commission Accredited community hospital and regional referral center with 171 beds, designated as a Level 3 Trauma and Certified Chest Pain Center. The facility is located in an area known for outdoor recreation and scenic mountain and lake views.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Medical Lab Technician, including experience within the last year
- Certification: Medical Lab Technician (MLT)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- Advanced microbiology experience, including plate reading and sensitivities
- Blood bank experience
- May be required to float within a 25-mile radius of the facility
