MRI Tech Travel Opportunity
Location: Asheville, North Carolina
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Summary
Seeking an MRI Technologist with ARRT (MR) certification to perform MRI procedures including contrast and non-contrast imaging. The position involves working primarily with GE equipment and documenting in Cerner EMR.
Work Schedule
- Hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 7:00 AM – 10:30 PM
- Saturday to Sunday: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
- Approximately 36 hours per week
- Rotating weekends required
Unit Information
- Staff: 9 total (day shift example includes 1 charge, 3 RNs, 2 CNAs, 1-3 sitters)
- Floor: 1
- Dress Code: Black scrubs
Required Qualifications
- Valid MRI Technologist license in North Carolina
- MRI Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience, including experience within the last year
- ARRT (MR) Certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- MRI Technologist experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Breast MRI procedures
Typical Procedures
- MRI with contrast
- MRI without contrast
Additional Notes
- Floating assignments may be required within the area
- Candidates without required certifications and registration will not be considered
