Physical Therapist (PT) - Travel Position

Location: Paramount, California
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Overview

Specialty: Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) / Long-Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH) / Acute care
Role: Physical Therapist (PT)
Shift: Day
Hours: Approximately 32 hours per week, PRN (as needed) with weekend hours as needed
Float Requirement: Must be able to float to LTACH within the same building
Number of Openings: 1

Facility & Unit Information

Unit: Acute Rehabilitation Unit with 18 beds
Patient Ratio: 4 patients per therapist
Patient Population: Adults
Equipment Used: LiteGait, Hoyer lift, Sara Stedy
Electronic Health Records (EHR): Protouch, Net Health, ProDocs

Required Qualifications

Valid Physical Therapist license in California
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist within the last year
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Bachelor’s degree or Doctor of Physical Therapy degree

Work Environment & Culture

Dress Code: Scrubs of any color or casual business attire permitted; blue jeans and similar attire are not acceptable
Personality Fit: Team player

Call requirements: None
Optional opportunities available at two nearby facilities within 20 miles
No specific patient diagnosis restrictions; all common diagnoses and treatments encountered
