Registered Nurse (PCU) - Travel Assignment
Location: Augusta, Georgia
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 48
Unit Overview
- Unit: Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
- Beds: 29
- Patient Ratio: Ideally 1:4, currently 1:5
- Staffing: Unit secretaries and patient care technicians available
- Equipment: Alaris IV pumps, Welch Allyn vital signs machines, bladder scanner, vein finder
- Documentation System: Meditech
- Scheduling: Staff self-schedule; flexible options available, including preference for consecutive night shifts
- Floating Policy: Staff float to areas within their competencies
- Dress Code: Royal blue scrubs; no artificial or gel nails allowed
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia
- Minimum 1 year of Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- HHCCA - De-escalation Skills in Healthcare Setting
