Registered Nurse (PCU) - Travel Assignment

Location: Waycross, Georgia
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Employment Type: Travel

Unit Overview

Unit: Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
Beds: 16
Patient Ratio: 4:1
Patient Types: Cardiac, Respiratory, DKA, Sepsis patients
Equipment: Monitored private rooms, Alaris IV pumps, Respiratory ventilators
Documentation System: MediTech Expanse
Scheduling: Full-time night shift with every other weekend required
Floating Policy: Voluntary based on expertise
Dress Code: Navy blue nurse scrubs
Scheduling Model: Flexible self-scheduling within unit rules

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia
Minimum 2 years of Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience, including experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
ICU background with experience managing critically ill patients

The facility is a 231-bed acute care hospital providing a wide range of services including emergency care, imaging, mental health, and pulmonary medicine.

Shift & Hours

36 hours per week
Night shift schedule

This position offers an opportunity to work in a monitored PCU environment with advanced equipment and a supportive team culture.
