Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - Travel Position
Location: Chandler, Arizona
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Overview
- Work in a 40-bed inpatient medical rehabilitation hospital specializing in adult patient care.
- Facility focuses on rehabilitation with patient populations including neuro, orthopedic, cardiac, and falls diagnoses.
- Typical patient load: 8 patients per therapist, supported by 1-2 assistants and 1 rehab tech.
- Equipment used includes Vector, Litegait, Saeto, InMotion ARM, Senaptec Sensory, and Technobody.
- Electronic Health Record system: UDS.
- Shift: Days, 40 hours per week guaranteed.
- Float option available to a sister facility located 8 miles away.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license in Arizona
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, including experience within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Additional Information
- Patient population served: Adults.
- Common diagnoses treated: Neurological, orthopedic, cardiac conditions, and fall-related injuries.
- Scrub color: Wine.
- Parking available in any non-visitor front lot spaces or back lot.
