Travel RN – Emergency Department

Assignment Details

  • Location: Salt Lake City, Utah
  • Employment type: Travel
  • Contract length: 13 weeks
  • Shift: 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
  • Hours per week: 36

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Utah
  • ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
  • ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
  • ACLS
  • BLS
  • PALS or ENPC
  • TNCC
  • CPI
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Unit Information

  • Emergency department float assignment between the main ED and FSEDs
  • 32-bed main ED and two FSED units with 10 and 12 beds
  • Patient ratio: 4:1
  • Team nursing model with paramedics, EMTs, and a dedicated unit secretary
  • No on-call requirement

Scheduling

  • 4 weekend shifts in a 4-week period

Clinical Focus

  • Procedures performed include intubation, chest tubes, and central lines
