Unit Overview
Medical-surgical unit with 33 beds
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Tennessee
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Med Surg (2 years of experience)
- Med Surg experience within the last year
- BLS
- De-escalation Skills - Healthcare Setting
Unit Details
- Staffing includes charge nurse, RNs, techs, and a secretary
- Travelers float when needed
- Documentation system: Meditechs
- Navy blue, black, royal blue, or gray scrubs are required
Additional Notes
- White boards must be completed for patient experience
- The team emphasizes collaboration and has had several first-time travelers with positive experiences
