Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Alaska
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience
BLS issued by American Heart Association
ACLS certification

Schedule and Assignment Details

On-call required: 1 day per week and 4th/5th weekend
Weekend coverage required: approximately 1 Saturday per month
May float within scope to EP or IR
Block scheduling not available
Local candidates not accepted; permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility

Additional Notes

Pending Alaska license accepted
Time off is reviewed individually after offer; only 1 time-off request is allowed per 13-week assignment
Guaranteed hours: 70 hours per 2 weeks, with possible call-off for 1 ten-hour shift per 2 weeks

About

Anchorage is a unique city surrounded by 5,000-foot-high peaks in the south-central part of Alaska along the Cook Inlet, where abundant salmon and whales swim through. It's filled with cultural sites, including many museums and the Alaska Native Heritage Center, which offers stage performances and displays traditional crafts and replicas of dwellings from indigenous groups in the area.
