CT Tech
Overview
- Location: Las Cruces, New Mexico
- Employment type: Travel
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Hours per week: 36
- Orientation: Weekly on Mondays
- Travel eligibility: Candidates must live 60 miles or more from the facility to be considered for travel
Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in New Mexico
- CT Technologist (2 years of experience)
- CT Technologist experience within the last year
- ARRT (R)
- ARRT (CT)
- BLS
- Experience in an inpatient setting
- Experience in an outpatient setting
Role Highlights
- Covers inpatient, emergency, outpatient, and interventional radiology procedure exams
- Performs all CT exams, including CTA hearts and calcium scoring
- Cardiac experience is a plus
Work Environment
- Uses GE 64- and 512-slice CT scanners
- Documentation systems include Meditech and Change HealthCare PACS
- No floating
Compliance Notes
- All clinical staff assigned in New Mexico must be fingerprinted before hire and provide documentation that the check is being processed
- A 14-day waiver may be used while waiting for results, with supervision
- Agency must have an account with the New Mexico Department of Health before the background check process can begin
