CT Tech

Job Overview

Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
Location: Mount Pleasant, South Carolina
Employment type: Travel/Contract
Shift: Days, Friday–Sunday schedule, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
Hours: 36 hours per week
Contract length: 13 weeks
Call: None
Floating: May be asked to float to sister unit locations during critical staffing needs
Target ratio: 1:1
Average daily census: 30
Scrubs: Royal Blue

Required Qualifications

Valid CT Technologist license in South Carolina
CT Technologist (2 years of experience)
CT Technologist experience within the last year
ARRT (CT)
ARRT R
BLS
Experience in an outpatient setting
Radiation safety
Drainage

Key Clinical Skills

Adult acute care and adult outpatient
ICU and emergency department experience
CT imaging procedures including abdomen, pelvis, chest, head, sinuses, soft tissue neck, carotid, cervical, lumbar, thoracic, musculoskeletal trauma, CT arthrography, drainage, myelography, enterography, intravenous pyelogram, and colorectal studies
Starting peripheral IVs and venipuncture
Isolation precautions/PPE and radiation safety
Siemens equipment familiarity

Schedule Notes

Friday–Sunday schedule
36 hours can be offered

Compliance / Onboarding Notes

Hospital orientation is during week one, and the traveler must be available for classes each day
Unit orientation is 24 hours
RTO after booking is not allowed
Interview availability for the next 72 hours is requested at submission
