Orientation: Weekly on Mondays
Weekend requirement: Every other weekend / as needed

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Tennessee
Rehabilitation (2 years of experience)
Rehabilitation experience within the last year
BLS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Unit Details

Unit type: Inpatient rehab
Bed count: 12
Patient population: Adult and geriatric
Typical patient ratio: 3-5:1
Float expectation: Rarely, if ever, floated to other units

Clinical Context

Common diagnoses and treatments include stroke, Parkinson’s, post-CABG, post-orthopedic surgery, debility, traumatic brain injury, and multi-trauma.

Work Environment

The unit supports patients who are medically stable enough to participate in 3 hours of therapy per day.
Ideal fit: motivational, encouraging, and supportive of patients working toward strength and independence.
