Radiation Therapist Job Summary

- Day shift: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
- 36 hours per week
Setting
- Outpatient clinic
- Radiation oncology unit
Assignment Length
- 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Radiation Therapist (6 months of experience)
- Radiation Therapist experience within the last year
- BLS
Preferred Qualifications
- Radiation oncology experience
Key Responsibilities
- Patient intake
- Medication reconciliation and health history review
- Coordination of care with other providers
Work Environment
- Small outpatient team
- Patient load is estimated at 1–2 patients per RN
- Compassionate, adaptable, and able to work independently
Additional Notes
- Meditech and Mosaic are used for electronic documentation
- The unit is growing and expects new equipment and construction expansion
