Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in North Carolina
- Telemetry (2 years of experience)
- Telemetry experience within the last year
- BLS
- ACLS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Unit Details
- Telemetry unit with 24 beds
- Patient ratio: 4:1
- May occasionally float to IMCU, NPCU, and/or Surgical
- Weekend requirement: every other weekend
Experience / Skills
- Experience with Life Pak, Zoll, and Masimo
Patient Population
- General cardiac patients ranging from young adult to elderly adult
Common Diagnoses / Treatments
- Chest pain
- A-fib
- CHF
- Pre- and post-care for cardiac caths
- VATS
