Registered Nurse, Med/Surg
Location: Gardner, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 32-hour evening shift, 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm, every other weekend and holiday
Required Qualifications
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Valid RN license in Massachusetts
- Med Surg (1 year of experience)
- Med Surg experience within the last year
- ACLS
- BLS
Preferred Experience
- 1 year of Med/Surg experience
- 1 year of Telemetry experience
- 1 year of Pediatrics experience
- PALS preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care
- Administer medications and intravenous therapy
- Perform cardiac rhythm interpretation and document findings
- Provide patient and family teaching, including discharge preparation
- Maintain accurate documentation and communicate patient status to the care team
- Support surgical patient care, including pain management and equipment setup/troubleshooting
