RN - Behavioral Health

Schedule
- Days, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- Every other weekend
- No call
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Unit Overview
- Behavioral health unit
- Adult and geriatric patient population
- 1:6 patient ratio
- 12 geriatric beds and 24 adult beds
- Floating required between adult and geriatric behavioral health units
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Arkansas
- Behavioral Health (3 years of experience)
- Behavioral Health experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- Handle With Care (HWC)
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Crisis stabilization expertise including verbal de-escalation and emergency physical intervention skills
- Experience with Cerner
Preferred Experience
- Milieu management using the therapeutic milieu model
Additional Notes
- Must be able to work with adult and geriatric behavioral health patients
- Navy blue scrubs required
- Clothing with hoods is not allowed
