Job Overview

Specialty: Emergency Department
Location: Kapaa, Hawaii
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift Requirement: Must be available all shifts
Schedule: Variable shifts; 80 hours in a two-week period, with 12-hour shifts also mentioned
Floating: May float to Long Term Care or ICU as needed

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Hawaii
ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
BLS
ACLS
CPI
NIHSS
NRP
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Long Term Care experience
ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience

Start Date

Target start date is mandatory, with no exceptions

Additional Notes

Holiday pay is based on hours worked on the holiday
Compliance items must be completed after confirmation

Kapaa is located in the eastern region of Kauai just north of Lihu, with the Sleeping Giant formation in the Nounou Mountain range looming above. The town also hosts live music, food and vendors selling local crafts on the first Saturday of every month.
