RN - Behavioral Health

Rochester, New Hampshire

Job Type

Travel
36 hours per week
12-hour shifts
Alternating weekends
Occasional floating as a helper role

Unit Overview

10-bed unit
Patient ratio: 3:1
Psychiatric and geriatrics experience are preferred
Support staff includes RN, LPN, PCT, recreational therapist, and social worker
Mechanical lifts and Sara Steady are used on the unit
No procedures are performed on the unit

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in New Hampshire
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Behavioral Health (2 years of experience)
Behavioral Health experience within the last year
BLS
CPI

Additional Details

Meditech Expanse is used for documentation
Scrubs in any color are required
Multiple staff members have 5+ years of tenure and psychiatric experience
The unit is described as family oriented and supportive
