Occupational Therapist
Location: Delta, Colorado
Facility: Not disclosed
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM; at least 40 hours per week
Required Qualifications
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in Colorado
- Occupational Therapist experience within the last year
- 1 year of Occupational Therapist experience
- BLS
Experience
- Previous experience preferred
Role Overview
- Assess patients and develop occupational therapy treatment plans in consultation with physicians or by prescription
- Provide therapy to help patients regain or adapt physical and mental functioning
- Support discharge planning and coordinate follow-up care
- Document patient care services and maintain confidentiality
- Supervise rehab aides
Work Environment
- Indoor clinical setting
- May involve exposure to communicable disease and hazardous materials
- Physical demands include walking, bending, stooping, squatting, lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally and 20 pounds frequently, and sitting up to 2 hours at a time
