RN - PACU

Overview

Location: Sachse, Texas
Employment type: Travel
Schedule: 5:30 AM–3:30 PM
Hours per week: 36
Contract length: 13 weeks

Role Summary

This role includes both PACU and pre-op responsibilities.
Call is required: 1 Friday, Saturday, or Sunday call shift, plus 1 additional weekday call shift each month.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Texas
PACU - Post Anesthesia Care (2 years of experience)
PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience within the last year
ACLS
BLS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Experience

Pre-op/PAT experience

Unit Details

Unit type: PACU
Patient ratio: 1:2
Staffing: 4 day-shift staff, 0 night-shift staff
Common procedures: Orthopedic sports/joints, general surgery, robotic surgery

Work Environment

Team-oriented, positive attitude preferred
