RN – Med Surg

- Wilson, North Carolina
Employment Type

Schedule
- 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
- 36 hours per week
- Every other weekend
- No call
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in North Carolina
- Med Surg (2 years of experience)
- Med Surg experience within the last year
- BLS
- NIHSS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- ED - Emergency Department experience
Experience / Skills
- Meditech experience preferred
- Must be able to schedule to meet unit needs
Unit Details
- Adult and geriatric med-surg unit
- Float assignment may include a second nurse role, telemetry, and the ED
- Patient ratio: 6:1 up to 7:1
- 22 beds per unit
Additional Notes
- Orientation is bi-weekly
- Start dates listed: 7/6, 7/20, 8/3
- Local candidates must be 60 miles or greater to be considered for travel status
