- 55 staff members
- Patient ratio: 4:1
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas
- ED - Emergency Department (5 years of experience)
- ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
- CPI
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Preferred Qualifications
- Meditech documentation system experience
- Bilingual English/Spanish
Key Clinical Experience
- Trauma and cardiac alert care, including STEMI, stroke, and sepsis patients
- Strong triage and critical thinking skills
Common Procedures / Responsibilities
- IV insertion, medication administration, EKGs, splinting, and wound care
- Moderate sedation for procedures such as reductions or cardioversion
- Assisting with intubation, CPR, rapid sequence intubation, and code response
- Transport preparation and coordination for higher levels of care
- Triage assessment and prioritization using ESI guidelines
- Isolation and infection control protocols
- Documentation and reassessment in a fast-paced environment
