RN - PACU
Job Overview
- Location: Lake Havasu City, Arizona
- Employment type: Travel
- Specialty: PACU
- Hours per week: 40
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Schedule
- Weekend coverage: Call
- Call: Approximately 5–6 days per month, including 1 weekend day and 1 Friday
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Arizona
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience within the last year
- PACU - Post Anesthesia Care (2 years of experience)
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience
- Cardiac Cath Lab experience
- ACLS
- BLS
- PALS
Preferred Experience
- PACU/ICU/Cath Lab experience
- Travel experience preferred
Work Setting
- Float within ACU and PACU, including Pre-op phase 1 and phase 11
- 12-bed unit
- Patient ratios: 2:1 or 4:1 depending on area of care
Additional Notes
- Critical care PACU/ICU experience required
- Cath lab recovery is part of the PACU team’s responsibilities
