Travel RN - Pre Op
Overview
- Specialty: Pre-Op RN
- Location: Wichita, Kansas

- Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
- Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Kansas
- Preoperative experience within the last year
- 1 year of preoperative experience
- BLS
- ACLS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Preferred
- Some pre-op experience
- Meditech experience
Unit Details
- Pre-Op Holding / ASU
- 9 pre-op beds and 5 Phase 2 recovery beds
- Patient ratio: 1:3
- On-call required with a 30-minute response time
- 2 ten-hour on-call shifts every 8 weeks
Common Patient Types / Procedures
- Phase 2 recovery for urology, GYN, and other SDS patients
- Pre-op for surgery, endoscopy, cath lab, EP, CT, outpatient infusions, outpatient EKGs, blocks, and blood transfusions
