Level II Nursery/Postpartum RN

Overview

Location: Vail, Colorado
Employment type: Contract
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: Rotating
Hours per week: 24

Role Summary

Provides nursing care for antepartum, labor, recovery, postpartum, well newborn, and Level 2 Nursery patients.
Supports lactation education and family-centered care.
Collaborates with providers and care team members to support patient outcomes.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Colorado
Post Partum (1 year of experience)
Post Partum experience within the last year
BLS
NRP
ACLS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Nursery experience

Key Responsibilities

Triage incoming patient requests
Educate patients to support care plans and informed healthcare choices
Delegate care according to Colorado statute
Perform assessments, administer medications, provide treatments, and assist in procedures
Manage high-volume patient calls for medications, information, and assistance
Coordinate care with physicians and other practices
Work independently with minimal supervision
Follow HIPAA requirements
