Clinical Lab Scientist
Job Overview

Required Qualifications
- Valid Clinical Lab Scientist (CLS) license in California
- Clinical Lab Scientist (CLS) (2 years of experience)
- Clinical Lab Scientist (CLS) experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- ASCP-BB
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients
- Blood bank experience (required to be recent/current within 2 years)
- Trauma Level I hospital experience
- Experience working in a large hospital with 300+ beds
- Blood bank software experience
- Experience with Epic
Preferred Qualifications
- Teaching hospital experience
- Experience with blood bank software
- Wellsky instrumentation experience
- Immucor instrumentation experience
- Clinical Immunohematology Scientist certification
Schedule Notes
- Rotating weekends and holidays
- Weekend coverage may exceed every other weekend based on unit needs
- Scheduling requests related to outside employment will not be considered
Additional Notes
- First-time travelers are not accepted
- RTO must be included at time of submission
- The role may require floating within a reasonable distance
