ICU RN Travel/Contract Job

- Level II trauma center
Job Details
- Floating between units is required
- On-call is not required
- Weekends are required: minimum 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week period
- Block schedules are approved based on unit need
- 48 hours are approved
- Expected patient ratio: 1:2 to 1:3
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Additional Requirements
- Government-issued photo ID
- Social Security card, as applicable for I-9
- E-Verify attestation
- Background check
- Education verification
- State-specific search
- Physical exam within 1 year of start
- Fit mask record
- Tetanus/diphtheria/Tdap documentation within 10 years
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray
- Rubeola, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, varicella, drug testing, flu documentation, COVID documentation, and respirator clearance as required by the assignment
Facility Notes
- Free parking is available in unrestricted employee/visitor parking areas
- Navy blue scrubs are required for licensed nursing personnel
