RN - Emergency Dept

Overview

Location: Mount Pleasant, Texas
Setting: Emergency department
Employment type: Travel
Schedule: 7AM–7PM, full time
Contract length: 13 weeks

Patient Population / Unit Focus

16-bed ER with 1 trauma bay and 4 fast-track beds
High volume of stroke and STEMI patients
Frequent MVC traumas
High psychiatric and geriatric population
Pediatric patients are also treated

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Texas
ED - Emergency Department (1 year of experience)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
PALS issued by American Heart Association
TNCC
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred

Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing

Additional Notes

Temp-to-perm may be an option if department openings are available at the end of the contract
