RN - Med Surg
Overview
- Location: Marquette, Michigan
- Employment type: Travel

- Shift: 7p–7a
- Weekly hours: 36
- Weekend schedule: Rotating
- Float: Occasional to a similar unit

Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Michigan
- Med Surg (2 years of experience)
- Med Surg experience within the last year
- ACLS
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing
Preferred
- BSN
- Experience on a medical/surgical unit
Unit Details
- Adult and geriatric patient population
- Patient ratio: 5:1 to 6:1
- Trauma level II
Work Environment
- Requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision
- Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action
Dress Code
- Galaxy Blue scrubs; navy is also acceptable
- Fingernails must be kept clean, not excessively long, and compliant with hand hygiene policy
- Tattoos considered offensive must be covered
- Excessive jewelry is not allowed
