RN - Med Surg

Unit Details
- Neuro/Ortho/Pediatrics unit
- 24 beds
- Trauma Level 2
- Patient ratio: 1:6
- Floating required to inpatient units
- Weekend requirement: 3 weekends every 6 weeks
- No call required
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Michigan
- Med Surg (2 years of experience)
- Med Surg experience within the last year
- BLS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience working with Adult patients
- Neurology experience
- Orthopedics experience
- Pediatrics experience
Preferred
- PALS
Additional Notes
- Required education: ADN
- Patient population includes all ages over 28 days
- Common diagnoses/treatments include trauma, post-op ortho/neuro, and general pediatrics
- Housing recommendations were provided (at additional cost)
