Interventional Radiology
Job Overview
- Location: Charlotte, North Carolina
- Employment type: Travel/Contract
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Schedule: 8-hour day shifts, Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
- Weekly hours: 40
- Call: One day per week
- Weekend rotation: 1 weekend every 6–7 weeks
- Float: None
- Start timing: Start date may vary based on class and trainer availability; full availability is required for orientation
Required Qualifications
- Interventional Radiology Technologist with 2 years of experience
- Interventional Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- ARRT certification
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Previous Stroke Certified Hospital Experience
- Special Procedures work setting skills
Required Skills
- Equipment maintenance, PACS, and supply stocking
- Fluoroscopy
- Equipment setup, access-site prep, room circulation, and sterile-field scrubbing
- 3D imaging
- Isolation precautions/PPE
- Lead tech experience
- Use of rapid response/code teams
- Sterile technique
