Job Overview

Required Qualifications
- Doctorate, Master's, or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in New Mexico
- Occupational Therapist (1 year of experience)
- Occupational Therapist experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
Role Summary
- Evaluate and treat patients affected by illness, injury, developmental, or psychological impairments
- Develop, implement, and monitor plans of care
- Provide occupational therapy treatments and modalities to support rehabilitation and independence
- Collaborate with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities
- Verify physician orders before evaluation
- Complete patient evaluations and establish goals and plan of care
- Administer or direct occupational therapy treatments and modalities
- Use and monitor therapeutic equipment safely
- Communicate patient progress and treatment effects to the referring physician
