RN - Rapid Response

Job Overview

Location: Riverside, California
Employment type: Travel
Contract length: 6 weeks
Hours per week: 48
Schedule notes: No special scheduling or requested time off; weekends may be required, and on-call is not typically scheduled

Unit Details

Specialty area: Labor and Delivery
Floating area: Postpartum/Couplets
Patient ratios: 1 RN to 2 patients; 1 RN to 1 patient
Typical procedures: NST, cervical exams, labor management, medication titration, McRoberts maneuver

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in California
Labor and Delivery (1 year of experience)
Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
BLS
ACLS
NRP
AWHONN
Rapid Response Competencies
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Rapid Response experience

Preferred Experience

Over 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
Transition Nurse/Baby Catching experience

Additional Notes

Candidates may extend for an additional 6 weeks at the same rate if fully credentialed
Candidates without AWHONN fetal monitoring experience will not be considered
