MRI Tech

Job Overview

Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
Location: Bolivia, North Carolina
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Thursday–Saturday, 10:00 AM–10:30 PM
Hours per Week: 36
Orientation: 36 hours
Scheduling: Blocked

Required Qualifications

MRI Technologist with 2 years of experience
MRI Technologist experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
ARRT (MR)
ARRT (R)
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Experience in an Acute Care setting
Experience in an Outpatient setting

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with adult ICU, pediatric acute care, or pediatric outpatient settings
Familiarity with Phillips equipment
Experience with perfusion imaging
Experience with trauma spine imaging

Clinical Setting

General community hospital serving MSK, neurological, and body cases
General MRI exams, including some anesthesia cases
No biopsies or procedures performed in MRI

Equipment

GE 1.5T 450W scanner
GE 1.5T Artist scanner
Phillips physiological monitors
Iradimed medicine pump

Scheduling Notes

No call
No float
No weekend requirement
RTO after booking is not allowed
Up to 7 days of RTO allowed

Additional Notes

Royal blue scrubs required
Locals are accepted
Assignment has a hard stop on February 27, 2027
