Assignment Details

Start date: ASAP
Contract length: 13 weeks
Float required
Covers Observation Unit / ER hold patients
Average daily census: 105
Rooms/Beds: 20/26
Visits per day: 135
Requested time off: no more than 7 days

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in California
ED - Emergency Department (1 year of experience)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Required Certifications

ACLS
BLS
PALS
NRP
NIH Stroke Certification
IV Certification
Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB)
CPI
EFM
Chemotherapy certification

Other Requirements

Background check
Education verification
Employment application with at least the last 5 years of employment
Minimum of 2 references covering 1 year of employment total within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting
Skills checklist
Physical exam within 1 year of start
Fit mask
Tdap within 10 years
Negative TB or chest X-ray
Measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, varicella, flu, COVID, drug testing, and respirator clearance documentation as applicable
Annual regulatory training modules
