Operating Room Registered Nurse

Overview

Travel/contract role in Anchorage, Alaska
13-week assignment
Start: ASAP
Day shift, 4x10 hours
Shift start times may vary: 6:45 AM–5:15 PM or 9:00 AM–7:30 PM
Weekend coverage required
On-call is limited to covering call-offs only
May float to like units within scope if needed
Block scheduling is not available
Local candidates are not accepted; permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility
First-time travelers are not accepted
Pending license is accepted, but the license must be in hand for auto-offer
Time off is reviewed individually after offer, and all requested time off must be included with submission

Required Qualifications

Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Valid RN license in Alaska
OR - Operating Room (2 years of experience)
OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
BLS issued by American Heart Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation

Preferred Qualifications

ACLS
CNOR

Assignment Details

Guaranteed hours: 60 per 2 weeks
Scrubs are provided
