Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in North Carolina
- Labor and Delivery (2 years of experience)
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- ACLS
- AWHONN
- BLS
- NRP
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience working with Maternal-Fetal patients
- Experience working with Neonate patients
- Experience working with High Risk patients
- Immediate newborn care experience
Preferred Experience
- High-risk experience
- Immediate newborn care experience
- Circulating experience
Unit Details
- 16-bed Labor and Delivery unit
- Patient ratios: 1:1 and 1:2
- Day and night shifts include charge nurse, PCT, CST, and RN
- Floating may include MFMU, MOMB, and NICU
Clinical Setting
- Procedures include vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, D&C, cerclage, and C-hyst
- Equipment includes Baxter pumps and Phillips electronic fetal monitoring
- EMR used: Cerner and Fetal ink
Additional Notes
- Weekends and on-call are not required, but may be available upon approval
- Scrubs are provided
