Echocardiographer
Location
- St Johnsbury, Vermont
Contract
- 13 weeks
- Contract role
- 32 hours per week
- Monday through Friday, four 8-hour day shifts per week
Required Qualifications
- Echo Technologist (1 year of experience)
- Echo Technologist experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- RDCS or RCS
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
Role Summary
- Perform transthoracic echocardiograms, limited studies, contrast studies, and bubble studies
- Produce diagnostic-quality cardiac images and measurements for cardiologist interpretation
- Use clinical judgment to evaluate patient history, optimize imaging, recognize significant abnormalities, and communicate urgent findings when appropriate
- Work with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals across inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and surgical settings
