RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Overview

Location: Smyrna, Tennessee
Employment type: Travel
Schedule: 4x10-hour shifts, with weekday and weekend call requirements
Hours per week: 36
Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Tennessee
Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
Cardiac Cath Lab (2 years of experience)
ACLS
BLS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Experience

Community hospital or mixed IR and cath lab setting experience

Unit Details

Cardiac cath lab
Patient ratio: 1:1 in the cath lab
Staffing includes cath and call teams
Floating may be required to imaging areas for certain staff roles

Clinical Skills / Procedures

Diagnostic caths
PCIs
Monitoring
Circulating
Sedation
Scrubbing
IR, specials, and vascular procedures
Left and right heart caths
PCI cases including Type A, B1, and some B2 lesions

Equipment / Technology

GE xray
Alaris pumps
Merge Hemo
Meditech
