NICU RN Travel/Contract Job

Unit Details
- NICU Level III
- Approximately 190 births per month
- No floating to like units
- No on-call requirement
- Weekends are every other, with possible additional weekends based on unit needs
- Holiday time-off requests must be included at submission, and the assignment requires working 3 of 5 major holidays
- Block scheduling is not available
- Scheduling requests due to outside employment will not be considered
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in California
- NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care (2 years of experience)
- NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

- Local radius is 50 miles
- Guaranteed hours: facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
