Registered Nurse (RN) - OR

Job Overview

Location: Neptune, New Jersey
Employment type: Clinical
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM
Schedule: 3 x 12
Hours per week: 36
Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
Holidays: Required as needed
On-call: After 90 days
Float: To ASC as needed

Role Summary

Provides nursing care for veteran patients undergoing surgical procedures in the operating room.
Responsible for documenting patient assessment, interdisciplinary treatment plans, clinical interventions, and patient responses.
Assigns and evaluates the work of non-nursing direct care providers in the operating room.

Required Qualifications

Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Valid RN license in New Jersey
BLS issued by American Heart Association
OR - Operating Room (1 year of experience)
OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients
Endovascular procedures experience
Spine procedures experience
Neuro procedures experience
Ortho procedures experience
