RN - Med Surg

Job Overview

Location: Weatherford, Texas
Employment type: Travel
Shift: Weekend rotating
Hours per week: 36
Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Texas
Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
BLS
ACLS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Experience

Experience with Meditech

Unit Details

Med/Surg and Med/Tele patient care
Floating as needed
No call required

Common Unit Procedures

Initiating IVs
NG tube care
Foley catheter care
Dressing changes
ADLs

Work Environment

Must be competent in patient experience, AIDET, bedside reporting, hourly rounding, and service recovery

Dress Code

Navy blue scrubs with Med City embroidery; proof of purchase required
No artificial nails, gel, or similar enhancements
Hair must be neat and clean
Visible piercings other than ears are not allowed
Tattoos should be covered whenever possible
