### Exciting Opportunity for Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse! **Job Description:** - **Position:** RN for Progressive Care Unit (PCU) - Float Team - **Schedule:** - Minimum of every other weekend - Flexible adjustments to meet unit and patient care needs - Shifts: 7a/7p, Monday to Sunday - **Requirements:** - Current AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required before start - Minimum of 1 year of telemetry experience - Proficiency in handling insulin drips, cardiac drips, starting IVs, and post-cardiac cath procedures - Epic experience within the last 2 years is non-negotiable - **Unit Details:** - Total Facility Beds: 341 - PCU Total Beds: Specific to unit needs - Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 3:1 - Support: CNAs, telemetry techs available on shift - **Diversity of Patient Care:** - Acute Coronary Syndrome - Patients requiring Bipap/CPAP with compromised gas exchange - Cardiac diagnoses needing close monitoring - Management of drug toxicity, ETOH withdrawal, and more - **Special Equipment:** - Access to respiratory support 24/7 - Home ventilators managed on unit - **Additional Unit Specifics:** - Minimal jewelry and professional hairstyle required - Closed-toe non-skid shoes mandated - No artificial nail polish - **Transportation:** - Reliable personal vehicle or rental needed; public transportation not accessible in the area - Vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires (November – April) **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
