Location
- Augusta, Georgia
Contract
- Travel assignment
- 13 weeks
- 40 hours per week
Unit Overview
- Main operating room with 13 operating rooms
- Patient ratio: 1:1
- Cases include major joint orthopedics, general surgery, urology (open and cysto), and minor vascular
- All surgical cases except open heart, transplants, and eyes
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Georgia
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- ACLS
- OR - Operating Room (2 years of experience)
- OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
- Orthopedic major joint surgery experience
- General surgery experience
- Minor vascular surgery experience
- Orthopedics experience
- Urology experience
Scheduling
- Call shifts: 4-5 per 4 weeks
- Weekend rotation
- No set schedule
- Floating required if the ORs are shut down
Additional Details
- Scrubs provided by the facility
- Parking garage with no parking fees
- Cafeteria available
- Sterile processing is on the same floor
